RACING CATAMARAN SAIL AND STINGRAY CITY

A short drive from the pier brings you to the Cayman Island Yacht Club, where participants are greeted by the crew and welcomed aboard the well appointed sixty-foot racing catamaran, "Cockatoo". After a safety briefing and orientation, the Cockatoo’s sails are hoisted and guests sit back and relax as the Cockatoo seems to fly across the waters of the North Sound before arriving at the world famous sandbar location at Stingray City!

Enjoy a refreshing swim and snorkel, or play with the friendly Southern Stingrays…as filmed by National Geographic and Discovery Channels! The Crew will take pleasure in introducing you to such characters as ‘Ray Charles’, ‘Martha Ray’, ‘Sugar Ray’ and a host of the other Southern Ray family!

After your visit with the Rays is concluded, the Sails are hoisted and the course charted as the Cockatoo seems to breath in the fresh air for a spirited sail across the Caribbean waters to the Yacht Club and awaiting return transportation.

A wonderful way in which to experience the famous Stingray City Sandbar aboard a Sailing Catamaran that is an attraction in itself!
